Volut — Schriftfamilie
Volut is a charming display font that I finished after a long break at the end of ’22 and is now sold through the Hamburg font label jpFonts and other distributors. The family is a so-called layer font, i.e. the individual typefaces – Base, Blocks, Outline and Outline Blocks – can be laid on top of each other or combined. The font has sex appeal and invites you to play and have fun. Due to its expressive character, Volut feels at home in large point sizes, but there it is definitely a serious partner in the field of posters, headlines, packaging, etc.
The character set includes stylistic alternates, special ligatures, and all special characters, and covers the complete Latin 1.
The font family was listed among the top 10 “Hot New Fonts” for over a month after its release on Myfonts, the world’s largest font provider, and is listed under “Handpicked” at the equally large distributor YouWorkForThem.
